I think casual mode is my personal favorite difficulty cause i can experience starbound to the fullest without worries

I hate this map with a burning passion, you cant find the damn teleporter

Bombs are super op weapons in this game due to its high damage and being spammable but be careful that it does damage to the player too when get hit by its blast radius

Be very careful for any planet with small or large meteorites cause it almost spells certain death for the player getting hit (1000 damage on impact)

One thing I missed in the beginning is that next to your attack there is a wrench and you can use it to heal your mech 1HP. So blocking spawns is a great tactic and just heal up if needed.

Dual wielded short swords are really good against npc enemies cause their fire rate is fast enough to not let them attack

I almost never go to a forge cuz it's too much to do for a couple items. Would be nice if there was a forge in each map or they brought back crafting at workbench. At least let us make stone arrowheads.

If it's any merit, I think the smeltery didn't just give you the Bestia (beast) and Fabricio (Fabrication) Essentia, but also fused them together to make Gelus (Crystal/Glass). Though, if that's the case, it'd be really weird, since there wasn't a LOT of Bestia to begin with.

I can't tell you how many hours i have in the game on Switch and still havent beaten it.

Really cool looking game with an amusing concept and great art design. Too bad they--like so many other doomed indie dev teams--had the hubris to focus on co-op/MP before SP. The game functionally died immediately after launch and has been lingering since then with less than 20 players per day peak and < 3 average at any given time (with one micro-spike up to 3.9). Co-op / MP games have to have a huge initial base to survive for very long and indie games rarely come within a mile of what's needed to survive for more than a couple months. You'd think these dev teams would know the market better because spending all that capital--$$ and talent--for a co-op game is, as it always has been, an almost inescapable waste of time. Might as well play the lottery.
